วันที่ 26 กันยายน 2563 บริษัท สตาร์ ปิโตรเลียม รีไฟน์นิ่ง จำกัด (มหาชน) (SPRC) นำโดยคุณทิโมธี อลัน พอตเตอร์, ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร และจิตอาสา SPRC เข้าร่วมโครงการ “พลังคนสร้างสรรค์โลก รวมพลังตามรอยพ่อของแผ่นดิน” ที่ อ.บ้านโพธิ์ จ.ฉะเชิงเทรา โครงการนี้จัดขึ้นต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 8 โดยกิจกรรมในปีนี้ อาทิ ปั้นคันนา ดำนา ปลูกหญ้าแฝก ปลูกต้นไม้ตามหลักการป่า 3 อย่างประโยชน์ 4 อย่าง รวมถึงการให้อาหารปลา มีผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการทั้งสิ้นกว่า 400 คน โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมจาก SPRC จำนวน 30 คน
โครงการ “พลังคนสร้างสรรค์โลก รวมพลังตามรอยพ่อของแผ่นดิน” เกิดจากความร่วมมือของเชฟรอนประเทศไทย สำรวจและผลิต จำกัด สถาบันเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง มูลนิธิกสิกรรมธรรมชาติ และสถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง พร้อมภาคีเครือข่ายทุกภาคส่วน ร่วมกันน้อมนำศาสตร์พระราชาด้านการบริหารจัดการ ดิน น้ำ ป่า และการพัฒนาคนมาเผยแพร่ให้ประชาชนทั่วไปรับรู้ เกิดความตระหนัก และนำไปสู่การปฏิบัติที่เกิดผลอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม นำมาซึ่งความเจริญอย่างยั่งยืนในหลากหลายพื้นที่ชุมชน
หลังสู้ฟ้า…หน้าสู้ดิน…คำพูดง่ายๆที่ใครก็พูดได้…แต่มีสักกี่คนที่ทราบซึ้งในคำนี้จริง…
การได้มีโอกาสดำนาครั้งนี้นอกจากจะเข้าใจคำดังกล่าวมากขึ้นแล้ว จะไม่ปล่อยให้เหลือข้าวเป็นขยะในแต่ละมื้อจะทานข้าวให้หมดทุกครั้งจริงๆนะ…ถ้ากับ(ข้าว)อร่อยพอ..

SPRC joins the 8th “the Power of Human Energy: A Journey Inspired by the King” Project
On September 26, 2020, Star Petroleum Refining PCL led by Mr. Timothy Alan Potter, Chief Executive Officer, and SPRC volunteers took part in “the Power of Human Energy: A Journey Inspired by the King” Project, held at Ban Pho district, Chachoengsao province. The project has been organized for 8 consecutive years. This year, the activities included building earth dikes, devising water management plans, planting rice sprouts and vetiver grass, planting crops using the “3 Forests, 4 Benefits” principle, and feeding organic fish. Over 400 people participated in the activities, 30 of which are SPRC volunteers.
“The Power of Human Energy: A Journey Inspired by the King” Project is an aspiring collaboration between Chevron Thailand, the Institute of Sufficiency Economy, the Agri-nature Foundation, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and numerous partners across the country to communicate and carry on His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great’s philosophy in the management of soil, water, forest, and human resources. The application and practice in sufficiency agriculture has long brought about tangible and lasting results, contributing to sustainable development of various communities.
